We devote two photographers to your wedding. And, whether your emphasis is on photojournalistic or contemporary wedding photography or a combination of both, we give you an artistic collection of classic, imaginative images that will be cherished for years to come.
Although we are located in Missouri, we are available to travel for both national and international destination weddings. For Missouri weddings, we do not charge travel fees unless there is an overnight lodging fee required.

The idea for HOPE Weddings & Portraits has grown from a desire to pay forward the kindness, consideration and "helping hand" extended to one of our family diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Already a twelve year breast cancer survivor, you can imagine the emotional toll, not to mention the financial burden, of facing the challenges of "yet another fight" she, along with all others who face this challenge, endure.
Her diagnosis is hopeful and that is the message we want to share with other survivors. The emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis is overwhelming and hope is the one gift we can share.
Everyone deserves support along this personal journey of coping with this disease and its treatment. And, we want to let people know they do not have to put their lives on financial hold or set aside their dreams of a wedding day remembered. They can have access to professional photography now.
So, as our shooting schedule permits, we are donating our time and talents to those who need help. Details, packages, and availability will be worked out on a case-by-case basis. If you, or someone you know is getting married or wants a portrait and has a budget that is limited by health care costs, then please send your story, a photo of you and your fiance or family, your wedding date, and any other pertinent details to us.
As we travel this road, we will share our experiences and the inspiritional stories of those we meet along the way.

There is a reason Aspen, Colorado is celebrated for it's white peaks and parties. The skiing is sensational and we haven't found a venue yet that did not know how to host a fabulous party. And, thigh-high, day long indulgence in deep powder and nights filled with festive celebrations is exactly what Ann and Steve Erickson had in mind when they decided Aspen would be the perfect place for the wedding of their dreams.
Friends and family gathered at Aspen Meadows to join Steve, Ann, and their teenage children as they took part in the ceremony that joined all their lives together.

Senior Portrait Season Is Here:
It's that time of year to be finishing school photos. And, fall colors add a dramatic backdrop for Seniors. If you haven't had yours done, it's time to schedule a photo session so pictures can be submitted to schools on time for the yearbook layout. Getting together with three or four (or more) of your friends for a photo shoot will be fun. Don't forget to bring props that reflect your musical, sports, or special interests. They add an extra dimenson to your session and, well you know the old addage, "one picture is worth . . . ".
